Hurry up already. Like the other comments here, the only thing I miss from my PC days is SnagIt. There is nothing even comparable to it. Jing doesn’t cut it.

Guys, I have just come across Voila for Mac. Its a great screen capturing, annotating, organizing and sharing tool… Moreover its a perfect replacement for Snagit on Mac platform… Thought you might find this interesting…
I have been an avid fan of Snagit for years. I have also been bugging them on the forum to develop a MAC version. They give us Jing, but that is poor in comparison and the yearly pricing structure for the Pro version is an abomination. I use Voila and a few others I have gotten via bundle purchases, but none compare to Snagit. People are just amazed when I send them a Snagit produced file. We need more people to post on their web site. Unfortunately, they are spending too much on Camtasia studio and it is a very pricey alternative to available screen recording programs. I hope someone sends them a link to this page….
PLEASE!!! I have used SnagIt on my PC at work for years. I recommended it to everyone I knew. The company I worked for made it one of their preferred programs. It was one of the best tools I’ve seen. Now I’m at home with my Mac and I don’t know how many times I’ve wished I had the same capability. I look forward (impatiently) to a Mac version.

Best news for a while. Playing with Camtasia for Mac. Use SNAGIT on my PC and love it. Have tried Voila on the Mac and it comes up short IMO compared to SNAGIT. Go techsmith.
I would love to see Snagit on Mac because it would be one more reason not to use a Windows application on my Mac.
I’ve been using SnagIt at work with Windows and has become a very valuable tool for creating presentations, reports and documentations. At home, I’m a Mac user and would love to have the same capabilities.

Dudes – c’mon – let’s go with this project already! We love Snagit, that’s the one thing Mac just doesn’t have – decent screen capture/annotation software. Nothing comes close to Snagit (and, sorry to break it to you, Voila sucks)
Come on – at least a beta version to play with!! I’m limping along with Skitch and want the real deal.
